A particular focus of our production is the manufacture of high-precision axles and shafts with sophisticated transverse machining - realized on modern CNC sliding headstock automatic lathes.
We manufacture rotationally symmetrical components with centerless ground segments or completely ground lateral surfaces with tolerances of less than 10 micrometers. Thanks to the targeted use of our 5-axis CNC turning technology, even complex transverse machining can be implemented directly on the machine - e.g. polygonal shapes, transverse bores and fits, transverse threads or special milled shapes such as lobster clasps - without cost-intensive reworking.
We can also machine the reverse side in a single operation, including precise alignment of both ends to each other - in the correct position and with process reliability.
High-performance measuring systems are available for permanent quality assurance, ensuring continuous monitoring of production quality.
